Jules and Randal

They are the sole makers of every item offered by The Turners in the Church. Their fine wooden objects for the house and garden are made from native timbers, as these are endlessly varied and beautiful.

As Makers

They both strive, from the moment of selecting the wood to put all the creativity, love of the material, and the skills acquired since 1978 into the work.

Award Winners

Jules and Randal won the Ted Mahoney Award for Excellence by coming first in a field of more than 990 others. And they continue to enjoy the recognition of their designs, attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Ancient Guild

As further proof of quality, Randal has been selected to be on the Register of the Worshipful Company of Turners. The Royal Charter to this ancient guild was granted more than 400 years ago.

Reputation

Their clients include many household names - the National Trust, Liberty’s of London, the Forestry Commission, the Shaker Shop, Temple Newsam House and an executive of River Island.
